Jeff McCann is all about inclusivity and play. Using repurposed cardboard sourced from local shops to create unisex jewellery and small home furnishings that brings back a childlike sense of wonder to his audience. All pieces have hand drawn illustrations and a water resistant varnish.
His stockists include the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia (MCA) and the Australian Design Centre (ADC). He has created costume and jewellery pieces for musicians including Thelma Plum, Montaigne, Handsome and Nina Las Vegas. Whilst is illustrative work has been features as part of Spilt Milk music festival and the City of Sydneys 'A Very Surry Hills Christmas’.
All pieces are made from repurposed cardboard that has been sourced from a bike shop near my house. All pieces are hand cut, painted by hand with a water resistant varnish is applied to finish.
